Frequently Asked Questions
What is the fundraising commitment?
Runners who receive a Boston Marathon bib through Team Nativity Prep will be required to raise a minimum of $10,000. Runners who already have their own Boston Marathon bib through qualifying will have a $2,500 minimum fundraising commitment.
Do I need to have qualified for the Boston Marathon to apply?
No. You do not need to have a Boston Marathon qualifying time to apply. Team Nativity Prep will select runners through the application process. If you have already qualified and have your own Boston Marathon bib, you are also welcome to apply.
When will I find out if I’ve been selected?
Applicants will be notified sometime in November regarding whether they have been selected to run with Team Nativity Prep.
Does Nativity Prep provide training?
Yes! Team Nativity Prep will have a dedicated coach working with all of our runners, regardless of their experience level or running ability. Our goal is to provide runners with the guidance, support, and training they need to feel prepared and confident on race day.
What costs are associated with running the Boston Marathon with Team Nativity Prep?
The Boston Marathon registration fee is $375, which is paid directly to the Boston Athletic Association (BAA). Upon acceptance to Team Nativity Prep, there is also a $100 non-refundable team fee required to secure your spot which will count toward your fundraising commitment.
