The Community we Serve
At Nativity Prep, the mission of forming “men and women for others” is not confined to students and alumni. The Nativity spirit of service, excellence, and love is shaped by, and shapes, all who take part in the life of the school – from benefactors and volunteers to families and community partners.

Where We're From
Our students come from a variety of Boston neighborhoods, including Dorchester, Hyde Park, Mattapan, Roxbury, and Roslindale. They commute to school using the MBTA bus or train, by carpool, or walking. Approximately 70% of our students live in multilingual households, where languages such as Spanish, Cape Verdean Creole, Portuguese, and more are spoken.
Why We're Here
We’re here to empower our students with a transformative education that nurtures their potential, expands their possibilities, and opens doors to brighter futures.
Who we are
The Nativity community is a vibrant and diverse network of students, families, teachers, fellows, volunteers, benefactors, and more. Each member plays a vital role in bringing our mission to life and sustaining the mission of our school.
