โ€œThe days at Nativity are long, and the expectations are high โ€” but no one here lets you give up on yourself. The teachers believed in me even when I struggled to believe in myself, and my classmates became more than friends โ€” they became brothers. Whether in the classroom, on retreats, or through service projects, I didnโ€™t just grow academically โ€” I grew in faith, resilience, and a more profound sense of purpose. I learned to lead, serve, and keep going when things get hard.โ€

For more than three decades, Nativity Prep has opened doors and inspired leaders, and through our College Promise Program, we continue to support our graduates as they pursue success in high school, college, and beyond.Weโ€™d like to extend a thank you to Keith McGilvery for serving as our MC and ensuring the evening was both powerful and inspiring. Our keynote speaker, Anthony Docanto โ€™11, captivated the room with his journey, from his beginnings at Nativity to the man and leader heโ€™s become today. With your continued partnership and belief in our mission, weโ€™re building a foundation that empowers our young men to reach new heights and create positive change in their communities and beyond. The Nativity community gathered for Mass to celebrate 35 years of Nativity Prep. Presided by Fr. John Wronski, SJ, and with concelebrant Fr. Jim Croghan, SJ, we were blessed to gather in gratitude for all that has brought us to this moment. It was a beautiful tribute to our shared journey and the community that makes it all possible. It was especially heartwarming to see so many alumni, students, faculty, families, trustees, and friends of Nativity come together in celebration. ... See MoreSee Less

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Fr. Alfred J. Hicks, SJ, who passed peacefully on the evening of October 16.Fr. Hicks served as Principal of Nativity Prep from 1991 to 2002, guiding students, faculty, and volunteers with profound grace, humility, and wisdom. His leadership left a lasting legacy on our school and in the lives of all who had the privilege to know him.A Jesuit for 72 years, Fr. Hicks served in schools around the world, from Baghdad College in Iraq to Boston College High School, always bringing with him a spirit of compassion, dedication, and excellence. Our President and Principal had the great blessing of joining Fr. Hicks for a lecture series he organized for retired Jesuits, an example of his lifelong commitment to education and community.Fr. Hicksโ€™s enduring impact at Nativity lives on through the Rev. Alfred J. Hicks, SJ Gymnasium and the annual award named in his honor:๐—ง๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐˜ƒ. โ€We are profoundly grateful for his many years of service and keep his loved ones in our prayers during this time of loss.We invite members of the Nativity community to join us in prayer and remembrance for Fr.
